Request a Quote Is Live! 🎉 And More!

It's been a while since our last announcement, but rest assured, we've been busy rolling out updates and improvements. We're excited to announce the roll out of our Request a Quote feature, which allows merchants to add a quote request to the storefront.

Customers can easily build quotes on your storefront and submit the quote for approval. Once approved, a ShopQuote will be generated, where further edits can be made. Easily customize storefront, communication and other important settings all within the app!

In the background, we've been working through other important updates, including:

• Zapier Integration: for those on a paid plan, you now have access to our Zapier Integration. This allows you to automate tasks after a ShopQuote is created. Find more information on this integration in Settings.
• File Attachments: easily attach files that are displayed on your quote.
• A new Image Widget: easily add images to your ShopQuotes with our new image widget.
• Expiration Widget improvements: you can now make further customizations to the Expiration Widget, including the ability to show the expiration date instead of the countdown timer.

We hope you find these updates useful for your business. We have many more improvements on our roadmap and we cannot wait to share them with you!

We're excited to announce a new way to share your ShopQuotes. A highly requested feature, you can now download your quotes as PDF and share with your customers however you choose.

Simply click Share > Download PDF.

Sharing a ShopQuote with your customers has never been more flexible. Share via live link, email or PDF. Your options are unlimited.

We hope this new addition is helpful. We welcome feedback so that we can continue to improve.

Create, Edit & Manage Quotes Directly in ShopQuotes 🗒️ 🎉

Introducing our largest update ever released! You can now create, edit and manage quotes directly in the ShopQuotes app without needing to first create a draft order! No more jumping between screens. Add and reorder products, add line item discounts, order discounts, shipping, customers, notes, tags and more!

For those who wish to continue creating draft orders in Shopify, don't worry, we've got you covered. Easily import a draft order with a single click.

Additionally, we've greatly improved the quote list view to make navigating between, managing and sharing quotes even easier.

We're continuing to make improvements to the ShopQuotes app in an effort to create the ultimate sales tool available on the Shopify App Store. Stay tuned for more updates coming very soon!

Major Update Releasing Soon!

We are preparing for the release of a major update to the app. For this update, we're required to update our permissions to be able to create draft orders and customers.

Once the update is released, you'll be asked to approve these permissions in order to use the app. We think you'll be very excited to see what we've done. See you on the other side!

MAJOR UPDATE: Multiple Quote Templates 🎨 & More

We're excited to announce our latest update! You are now able to create and utilize multiple quote templates.

Create templates specifically for customer segments, product categories, limited time sales and more! The choice is yours. Simply create the template you desire and assign them at the quote level.

This update allows for more flexibility to show what you want, when you want. To add a template, simply navigate to Settings > Template Editor and click "Create template" to get started.

Additionally, we've added a few new settings in the Editor:

• Adjust the width of your template under Global Settings > Edit theme > Styling > Page Width
• Edit the Quote Title within the Order Summary under Order Summary > Quote Title
• Edit the Checkout button text under Order Summary > Checkout Button label

Service Degradation Notice

Advanced Filters 🔍 🎉

We are excited to announce our release of advanced filtering of the ShopQuotes list!

With this release, you may now filter your ShopQuotes by the following attributes:

• Draft order value
• Tags (from the draft order)
• Activity status
• Creation date
• Last activity date
• Completion date (if completed)

These allow you to filter your ShopQuotes based on attributes which allow you to take appropriate action when necessary. For example, you may want to see ShopQuotes that have not completed, but where your customer has clicked the checkout button so that you can follow up.

We're excited to see what this allows you to do! Please let us know if you have any requests for additional filters. We welcome your feedback!

Notes Are Live!

ShopQuotes now allow you to attach Notes to draft orders and display the notes on your ShopQuote!

To add a Note, simply click ADD NOTE when creating a ShopQuote, or when editing an existing one. You can adjust the look and feel of your Notes section in Settings. We will be adding more functionality in the months to come.

Currently ShopQuote Notes do not sync with Shopify, so if you have draft order notes added in Shopify, you'll need to copy them over to the app. It's important to also note that ShopQuote Notes attach to draft orders, so if you have a draft order across multiple ShopQuotes, updating the Notes for that draft order will affect the other.

Order Summary Updates — Line Item Properties & Product Links

We've implemented a small, but important, update to our Order Summary section in the Template Editor. Our app now supports displaying line item properties that mirror those shown at checkout. Additionally, you can now make products listed on your quote clickable so that your customers can view the products in a new tab.

You Can Now Share ShopQuotes via Email ✉️ 🎉

We're excited to announce our latest update! You can now notify and share a link to your ShopQuote with your customers via email without leaving the app.

The email layout mirrors your template layout so that your brand remains consistent throughout the sales process. You can preview each email and edit/add a personal note before sending to your customer.

Email sending is available to users on paid plans. To begin using this feature, navigate to Settings > Domains & Emails to add your email, set up DNS verification and start sending!
