Zapier Integration
The Zapier integration lets you connect ShopQuotes to thousands of other apps so you can automate what happens after a quote is created. Send the quote to your CRM, post it in a Slack channel, log it in a spreadsheet, or trigger any custom workflow — without writing code.
What you can do
ShopQuotes exposes the following trigger to Zapier:
- New ShopQuote Created — fires every time a new quote is created in your store, with the full quote payload (quote name, customer, line items, totals, public URL, expiration, and more).
You can use this trigger to power any Zap, for example:
Send a Slack message to your sales team when a quote goes out
Create or update a deal in HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Salesforce
Append the quote to a Google Sheet for reporting
Email the quote link to internal stakeholders via Gmail or Outlook
Create a task in Asana, ClickUp, or Trello to follow up
Before you start
You'll need:
An active ShopQuotes plan that includes the Zapier integration
A Zapier account (free or paid)
Step 1 — Generate your ShopQuotes API token
In your Shopify admin, open the ShopQuotes app.
Go to Settings → Zapier.
Click Generate Token. ShopQuotes will create a unique API token tied to your store.
Copy the token. You'll paste it into Zapier in the next step.
Keep this token private. Anyone with the token can read your quote data through the Zapier API. If you ever need to rotate it, click Regenerate on the same page — this will also disconnect any existing Zaps so they can be reconnected with the new token.
Step 2 — Connect ShopQuotes in Zapier
In Zapier, click Create Zap.
For the Trigger, search for and select ShopQuotes.
Choose the New ShopQuote Created event and click Continue.
When prompted to connect your account, paste the API token you copied from ShopQuotes and your
myshopifydomain (e.g.your-store.myshopify.com).Click Test Trigger. Zapier will pull a sample of your most recent quotes so you can confirm the connection is working.
Step 3 — Build your Zap
Once the trigger is connected, add the action(s) you want to run for every new quote. For example, Send Channel Message in Slack, Create Spreadsheet Row in Google Sheets, or Create Deal in HubSpot. Map fields from the ShopQuote payload into the action, then turn your Zap on.
From this point on, every new quote created in ShopQuotes will be sent to Zapier within a few seconds and your Zap will run automatically.
Disconnecting the integration
To stop sending quotes to Zapier:
Turn off or delete the Zap in Zapier, or
In ShopQuotes, go to Settings → Zapier and click Revoke Token. This disconnects all Zaps tied to your store at once.
Troubleshooting
Zapier can't connect or says the token is invalid.
Make sure you've pasted the token exactly as it appears in ShopQuotes, with no extra spaces, and that you haven't regenerated the token since connecting. If you've regenerated it, reconnect the account in Zapier with the new token.
My Zap didn't run for a new quote.
Quotes are sent to Zapier a few seconds after they're created, so allow a short delay. If a Zap still doesn't run, check the Zap's history in Zapier for errors, and confirm the integration is enabled on your current ShopQuotes plan.
I don't see "ShopQuotes" in Zapier.
